I think this is good! I might want to do an even harder marketing pass on the language to make it clearer why new developers should want to get involved.

Can you add a specific request for visually impaired user feedback?

Let's also say that this is a big project that will require a lot of help, and this is a great opportunity to have a big impact on the ground floor of a big effort on a popular project in a way that will give developers valuable experience. Let's sell people on the opportunities that working on mixxx can open up -- that's how I got good enough to get hired by Google!

That's a very nice newspost, thank you. As we also have users without technical background reading the newsposts it would be nice to add an explanation or link to pages where people can find about QMl like wikipedia, the Qt reference guide (not the goal to create a complete exposé about QML) Maybe a footnote with a link on QML* ? A page with a good description can make people enthusiastic to help. |
