Computing time-weighted average head position doesn't handle split FIF files. I'm pretty sure (but need to check) that the headpos (when computed by MBP) is originally computed with all splits taken into account --- I'm assuming that if it wasn't, then
mne.preprocessing.compute_average_dev_head_twould complain about number of samples not matching or something.Before merging …
