Proposed changes
When mid-navigate on an SPA, webdriver can receive some differently formatted
boundswhich this attempts to sanitise.The linked issue had some thorough diagnosis. I'm just applying the sensible changes suggested there.
Testing
I've got an e2e test added (although it'll only fail sometimes, even if this fix did nothing)
