Hi,fixed the census tests, thanks for the feedback!

It looks like you're missing import os in test/test_census/test_census.py. Adding this should hopefully get the pytest runs to pass.

I'd also suggest running ruff format and ruff check --fix which should get the ruff-format and ruff-check runs, respectively, to pass.
