This update includes minor bug fixes, UI adjustments and other performance improvements, including:

  • [all] The main screen will now show a small, dismissible notification for important new messages."
  • [Android] A variant of the app that is not dependent on Google Play Services has now been released.
  • [Windows] If IPv6 is disabled, the VPN will again work.
  • [Linux] Migrated PPA builds to use the Mozilla APT repository for future updates.
  • [Windows] In rare cases, Mozilla VPN could not be installed. This is now fixed.
  • [Android] Improved filtering on language selection screen, especially for languages with non-Latin alphabets.
  • [Linux] Ubuntu users may have had an issue when using Firefox Multi-Account Containers with custom VPN locations. This is no longer a problem.
  • [all] You can use Mozilla VPN in dozens of languages, and we’ve included the latest translations in this release.
