@mwgg we have seabases. Upon quick inspection, I saw no dedicated heliports and also noticed that the heliports in my area that have an ICAO code are not on our list. Thoughts? |

I mainly made a PR since according to legislation a helipad/heliport would be considered an airport.[1][2] References[1] “49 U.S. Code § 47102 - Definitions,” LII / Legal Information Institute. https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/49/47102 [2] “14 CFR 157.2 -- Definition of terms.” https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-14/chapter-I/subchapter-I/part-157/section-157.2 |

@RoMinjun appreciate the input and definitely second your thoughts. I am contemplating this from a bigger picture: are there many more helipads/ports we should be adding? How do we find them? How many ICAO helipads are there. Should be have an indication of helipads or should there be a separte file with heliports, airports, seabases etc. |
