This paragraph should mention both napari/napari#6654 and github.com/napari/napari/pull/7566
I've added some detail shared by @jni and @Czaki to this draft note and grouped some items for user readability. I modeled the sections after how we organize Python releases.
It's still needs more editing but it's better than what we had for 0.6.0a0. I would recommend merging and iterating on the note over the rest of this week.
