Bio-Easel

The README is used to introduce the module and provide instructions on
how to install the module, any machine dependencies it may have (for
example C compilers and installed libraries) and any other information
that should be provided before the module is installed.

Bio-Easel is not in CPAN

INSTALLATION

This module requires the Easel C library, which needs to 
be downloaded from GitHub. Before you can do that you will 
need to create a 'src' directory. 

        mkdir src 
        cd src
        curl -k -L -o easel-Bio-Easel-0.17.zip https://github.com/EddyRivasLab/easel/archive/Bio-Easel-0.17.zip
        unzip easel-Bio-Easel-0.17.zip
        mv easel-Bio-Easel-0.17 easel
        rm easel-Bio-Easel-0.17.zip
        cd ..

It also requires the Inline module which can be installed with:

        cpan install Inline
        cpan install Inline::C

Then, to install this module, run the following commands from the 
top level Bio-Easel directory:

	perl Makefile.PL
	make
	make test
	make install

After installing, you can find documentation for this module with the
perldoc command.

    perldoc Bio::Easel
