The implementation has gone through several iterations....

Must Haves

  • edit code anywhere
    • no google app engine
    • no local (i.e. from home)
  • want template rendering
    • don't like HTML
...tried to just host everything in Amazon S3. But where to edit the info?

...or host the data in files or S3. But I'd have to invent my own indexing and atomic update functionality.

...could be just a wiki. Probably the best answer! But tedious to keep the format of all, e.g. Rubbing, pages the same. And why isn't technology available to store the data nicely and derive the pages correctly?

Some other ideas....
