I'm Nico, a full-time software developer from Chile, trying to improve my skills building something that I love so I don't get burned out (hopefullly).
I've been a software developer since 2010, I've worked mainly for bank and retail since then, which is not what I dream about when I became a developer. In the journey of finding joy in what I do, I had several hobbies, like play guitar since I was a kid and a few years ago (thanks to my university teacher which became a friend) I fell in love with TTRPG. Became a casual player and a recurrent Game Master.
I've been using some online tools to help my players create their characters but I feel something is misssing in those. I'm trying to fill those gaps while improving my skills. I want my players to create their characters quickly based on their imagination, without any barrier that will discourage them to enjoy this kind of games.
I want players to take the leap of faith and play. No barriers at all.
- Free: TTRPGs should be a free source of fun as we used to roleplay when we were kids. We used only our imagination to play. So I want this app to be free as long as it can be.
- Language support: No matter where you're from I want you to be covered. I want to implement localization in every language needed.
- Accessibility: I dream in a world where everybody is able to do anything. I will do my best to enhance accessibility on this project.
All of that while I improve my software developer skills.
I do what I love. I love what I do.
I'm creating this free project by myself reflecting my dreams in it, to improve my skills, and using Github Copilot to review my pull requests with my coding guidelines (since I lack of a partner that could do that), but...
