Hi there 👋

I'm Noor.

I build software, data systems, and search platforms.

Lately, I've been moving deeper into Machine Learning, AI Engineering, and AI Agents. I'm interested in how LLMs, retrieval systems, and knowledge infrastructure can be combined to build useful and trustworthy applications.

Over the last few years, I've worked at CERN and on OpenWebSearch, building things across the stack—from web interfaces and APIs to search engines, data pipelines, and distributed infrastructure.

Most of my experience is in:

  • React, Node.js, Python, and Java
  • Search and information retrieval
  • Data engineering and backend systems
  • OpenSearch and ScyllaDB
  • Docker, Podman, and CI/CD

I enjoy understanding how systems work end-to-end and building products that connect users, software, and data.

Outside of engineering, I care about accessibility, digital public infrastructure, and technology that has a positive social impact.

Always learning. Always building.
