Ein erster Vorschlag für die Implementierung von fillFirstEmptyPosition.
Leider mit einer ReferenceCell. Mir ist aber kein besserer Weg eingefallen, um die Endbedingung der Rekursion ohne mutable Data weiterzugeben.
Bin auf andere Lösungsansätze gespannt.
