Mission

The advisory board will guide and support our club in its mission to foster cybersecurity awareness, research, and community building. Advisors will leverage their expertise to ensure that null NEU remains at the forefront of the cybersecurity field.

Purpose

  • Provide strategic guidance and industry insights for long-term organizational growth.
  • Offer mentorship opportunities to student members.
  • Facilitate connections with industry professionals and sponsors.
  • Assist in aligning chapter activities with current cybersecurity trends and future needs.

Expectations

  • Advisors are expected to commit a few hours each month for meetings and to provide ongoing mentorship or consultations as needed.
  • They will review key initiatives, including hackathons, workshops, research projects, and student-led cybersecurity programs.

Selection Criteria

Potential advisory board members will be evaluated based on:
