The CI check seems to be due to (1) GO having obsoleted 'detection of electrical stimulus involved in electroreception' (geneontology/go-ontology#31306); (2) Uberon using that term in its definition of 'electroreceptor organ'. This is primarily a Uberon problem, but it shows up here rather than in Uberon likely because Uberon has not yet refreshed its GO import since the obsoletion took place. |
Confirmed: Uberon last updated its import file on 12 January. GO obsoleted GO:0050964 on 9 January but the first GO release in which the obsoletion was visible was on 23 January. |

Hi Damian, yes i have changed the usage of the obsolete term with an alternative. this comes up everytime i refresh the imports sadly. |

Frankly furious about the GO changes. FBbt very badly broken by them and they are dropping really important biological distinctions. |
Yeah, when I saw the list of obsoleted terms that was my first thought – “isn’t FBbt using a lot of those in its logical definitions?” (I may no longer be working for FlyBase but FBbt is always in a corner of my mind. :D ) |
-refreshed imports.
