Prerequisites

• Python 3.x installed on your system.
• Nodejs version 20.10.0 or above installed on your system

Getting Started

Follow these steps to clone the repository, set up the environment, and run the application:

1. Clone the Repository

First, clone the repository from GitHub to your local machine:

2. Navigate to the frontend directory

cd frontend

3. Set up the React project

npm install
npm run dev

4. Navigate to the backend directory

cd ..
cd backend

5. Create a Virtual Environment

python3 -m venv venv

6. Activate the Virtual Environment

Activate the virtual environment. The activation command varies depending on your operating system:

On Windows:

venv\Scripts\activate

On macOS/Linux:

source venv/bin/activate

7. Install Required Packages

Install Flask along with any other necessary packages:

pip install -r requirements.txt

8. Run the backend

To start the Flask development server, use the following command within the backend directory:

python main.py
