This repository contains the code required to reproduce analyses conducted by Annika Lamb (AIMS) for the manuscript "A selective breeding design based on parental rapid heat stress thresholds did not produce more heat tolerant coral larvae".
Repository contains three scripts for collectively analysing and graphing broodstock heat tolerance and fecundity and larval heat tolerance.
Data was analysed to evaluate:
- whether a rapid heat stress assay can be used to identify heritable heat tolerance in coral populations, and
- whether there is a trade-off between coral heat tolerance and fecundity that could impact the efficacy of selective breeding.
Note that data and models are stored on the AIMS data repository
