The first release of 2026 suites brings support for the latest Intel hardware, introducing the Panther Lake and Bartlett Lake platforms to the Edge.
It also offers significant additions to the sample application portfolio. A new Health and Life Sciences Suite launches the Multi-Modal Patient Monitoring application, while the Metro AI suite expands with Deterministic Threat Detection, Live Video Captioning, Live Video Search, Live Video Alert Agent, Smart Traffic Intersection Agent, and Smart Route Planning Agent apps, as well as the Agentic Predictive Maintenance Pipeline.
Among other improvements, the Retail AI suite has consolidated its Automated Self-Checkout with Loss Prevention, deprecating the original, standalone solution.
