chore: upgrade deps

Problem

we have vulnerabilities in our dependencies.

Solution

• i fixed via running npm audit fix --legacy-peer-deps but do take note that this does not fix all the vulnerabilities, as there are some that require a breaking change.
• to avoid breaking changes being rolled into this PR, i'll raise another one specifically with the result of running npm audit fix --force on top of this pr
