OpenTripPlanner Wiki
OpenTripPlanner (OTP) is an open source multi-modal trip planner which runs on Linux, Mac, Windows, or potentially any platform with a Java virtual machine. Documentation on the usage and configuration of current versions of OTP has been moved to readthedocs. That documentation is automatically built and published from version-controlled Markdown source within the project's github repository.
Legacy documentation is still present in this wiki for any developers using older versions of OTP who may wish to consult it. However, pages are being progressively removed in an effort to create a single authoritative location for OTP documentation.
The wiki is now used for brainstorming, technical notes, whitepapers and draft specifications, roadmaps, organizing community collaboration, or anything else that does not belong in the "users' manual" that is docs.opentripplanner.org.
For more general information about the project, please visit opentripplanner.org.
The documentation on this wiki is outdated and should not be used
unless you are intentionally working with legacy versions of OpenTripPlanner. Please consult the current documentation at readthedocs
