What should make it into the 1.0 release in September/October?

  • Mobile emulator support
    • Emulator
    • Android
  • More reliable atom injection system
  • Reducing number of things we rely on atoms for
  • JavaScript dialogue support?
  • Rename packages to com.opera.*
  • HTML5 WebForms interaction
  • Implement Selenium's Logging interface (extract JS/DOM/driver/remote logs)
  • Screen capture API rewrite
    • Screenshot stitching
  • Investigate/remove/resolve ignored tests (OperaDriver)
  • Fix any remaining outstanding ignored tests (Selenium)
  • Selftests “groups”
  • UPnP support
  • Proxy support
  • Exposing OperaDriver-specific functionality through interfaces, and ultimately, the JSON wire protocol
  • Clean up all warnings and static analysis items
  • Ensure Java 1.6 compatibility (no 1.5 legacy code)
  • JavaDoc API styling
  • Service system cleanup (esp. version management needs fixing)
  • Clean up all documentation
  • Create web site on opera.com
  • Update wiki pages
  • Native Java OperaRunner implementation
  • ...

Other things that might not make it in:

  • Mobile on Android over USB support
