I had problems with a couple of the tests failing. (I have animations turned off, per the README advice)
I'm not sure if this is the correct approach, I don't know much Espresso. I copied the code from Stack Overflow in the time-honoured tradition.
Do you think the flakiness could indicate work being done on the UI thread that shouldn't be? In that case, perhaps this "fix" would be masking the issue.
