Summary of Changes

Hello @burgerphilic18, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request introduces two targeted fixes stemming from PR #31. It refines the backend logic for thread creation by addressing a variable naming inconsistency and streamlining user ID handling. Concurrently, it enhances frontend styling by migrating a hardcoded color value to a CSS variable, thereby improving the overall maintainability and consistency of the user interface.

Highlights

  • Server-side Thread Creation: Corrected the variable name used for assigning the createdBy field when creating a new thread, changing it from userId to userid. This change also involved removing a redundant userId extraction and an unauthorized check, suggesting that user authentication is now handled upstream or guaranteed by the request context.
  • Frontend Styling Consistency: Replaced a hardcoded hexadecimal color value (#4281ff) with a CSS variable (var(--brutal-blue)) for the background color of .neo-brutal-card-blue elements. This improves maintainability and promotes consistent theming across the application.

Code Review

This pull request introduces two fixes. The change in apps/server/src/routers/threads.ts resolves a variable scope issue and removes some redundant code. The change in apps/web/src/styles/components/card.css is a good improvement, replacing a hardcoded color with a CSS variable for better maintainability. I have one suggestion regarding naming consistency in the TypeScript file.
