Get fingerprint (manually)

By default, the plugin will provide you the certificate fingerprint for copy & paste, as described in the setup guide.

If you wish do get the fingerprint manually, follow the information below.

Fingerprint formats

The following formats are allowed (lower/upper/mixed case):

Example getting the SHA-256 fingerprint using Firefox

1. Open the web interface of your dSS.
2. Click the lock icon in the address bar.
3. Click Connection not secure.
4. Click More information.
5. Click View Certificate.
6. Copy the SHA-256 fingerprint
