Doctests seemed a useful troubleshooting tool for outdated module names in the docs. It looks like this is not a problem, but there are some other API changes that are breaking doctests. Lets add some CI for those in a separate PR.

I started using doctests to check the rename was done properly. There are some more failures to sort out and it would be good to automate them in CI. But those fixes shouldn't really clutter this PR any more. |
