It looks like the RequestHandler of @types/express-serve-static-core is not compatible with the RequestHandler of express@v5 or with SidecarRequestHandler (which is also based on the express one).

Replacing the

import { RequestHandler } from 'express-serve-static-core';

with

import { RequestHandler } from 'express';

fixes all the errors. However, then it is basically removed from almost all the code so then we need to consider if we keep the package at all. I will check a bit more because I am not sure if this is the ideal solution.
