Respect File Exclude and alias for folders

Hi,

Thank you for this extension, it is really saving me already massive headaches, navigating my rather big project.

I wanted to ask if there are, or are planned, two features:

1. Respecting the files.exclude setting, so that folders in the favorites view don't show things like .git or __pycache__ etc
2. A way to add an Alias to the folders and files in the favorite view. Let's imagine I have in my project more than one folder called Foo (in different location, of course). it would be nice to see them with an alias in the favorite view, instead of seeing two Foo folders next to each other.
