Ideas of projects for GSoc2011:

  • IDE support: write an plugin to ease development for the editor/IDE of your choice: Netbeans, IntelliJ, Emacs, VI

  • Implement support minifying and concatening Javascript/CSS files

  • Integrate JSHint or JSLint to Play's testing module: in addition to running the tests, it would check the Javascript files for mistakes (working in a browser is cool, work in command line with auto-test too would be better)

  • Implement support for a NoSQL base such as CouchDB or MongoDB

  • Write a module providing a wiki functionality, that can be integrated into applications

Note: the Summer of Code 2011 participation is pending Google's approval (but you can still steal these ideas!)
