Summary

  • Identify DING’s undecorated Wayland desktop surface before DING marks it as a desktop window.
  • Keep that surface out of Pop Shell’s window registry and restore the previous tiled focus if it receives focus.

Fixes #1658.

Testing

  • make compile
  • Logged out and back in on Ubuntu with GNOME 50.
  • Repeatedly switched between two stacked Chromium windows; the desktop remained behind them.
