There is also a "Measurements" group in the Options --> Digitizing tab that needs to be documented (see https://github.com/qgis/QGIS/pull/64496/changes#diff-e0fe055875ca8f5233723ad0e101b958203b823b0fc283be81d6c73c8f78987d and the discussion in the PR) and maybe, as a consequence, the status bar also.
