YTUHD is not stable atm. You might encounter stuttering, heat, battery drain..., especially when playing at 2160p (4K) quality. However, this should not happen if you use TrollStore.
Unless you're using TrollStore, deep-link (aka Open in the YouTube App) simply will not work. Fortunately, there are several workarounds here.
Users with Dynamic island device could try to install the IPA via TrollStore/AltStore, to prevent the Dynamic island background playback issue.

YouTube really messed up with OLED dark mode in v18.15.1+. We should stay on the lower version for now.
For those who're using the pre-release version (v18.15.1-3.0): I strongly recommend you downgrade from v18.15.1-3.0 to v18.14.1-3.0 (this version).

Google once again added a new implementation that prevents users from signing in to modified YouTube apps (#683).
This only affect new user (first-time sign-in). If you have been logged in already on the old version, DO NOT uninstall the app. Otherwise, you'll have trouble logging back in.

Add YTABConfig by @PoomSmart: YouTube usually implements a feature as an experiment. You may get to see it while others don't, and vice-versa. This tweak adds a new section named "A/B" in the app settings, where all features can be toggled by you. Feel free to share & discuss about all the features in YTABConfig's repo.
