The fontawesome support in Antora and Asciidoc is patchy, and works on some versions and in some ways. See https://gitlab.com/antora/antora-ui-default/-/issues/58 for a discussion about some of the design tradeoffs antora has considered for icon support.
I ended up hand-patching in asciidoctor/asciidoctor-docs-ui#26 (which was created but never merged), and that has reinstated the icons on the admonitions.
Resolves #34.
