Summary of Changes – Resolves Issue #93
Updated the local setup script (localscript.sh) to automatically install and configure the git-r tool within the r-dev-env container.
Ensured seamless integration of git-r for building, patch creation, and SVN metadata synchronization.
Verified that users can push changes from the container to their personal fork of the r-svn repository.
These changes resolve Issue #93 by enabling a smooth Git-based workflow compatible with R’s SVN infrastructure inside the development container.
Documentation describing the complete git-r workflow will be provided in a separate PR.
