I think this deviates a bit from the original intent of the book. Usually while developing or testing an R feature a specific IDE is not needed, just access to the testing output and REPL is enough. You mention that there is some issue where this is mentioned? Could you link to it? I couldn't find it with a quick search for the two IDEs included on this PR. |
