pynvmlpackage (https://github.com/gpuopenanalytics/pynvml) provides 2 things:pynvmlPython module, transitively via a dependency on thenvidia-ml-pypackagepynvml_utilsPython moduleThis project's doesn't need the
pynvml_utilsPython module, so this PR proposes dropping the dependency on thepynvmlpackage in favor ofnvidia-ml-py.Notes for Reviewers
How I tested this
Inspired by rapidsai/dask-cuda#1547 (comment), checked the runtime environment for tests... saw that
