💡 What: Moved the QUALITY_PRESETS[currentQuality] dictionary lookup and the 1000 / targetFPS floating-point division out of the high-frequency requestAnimationFrame render loop.

🎯 Why: Performing object lookups and division every frame (up to 60+ times per second) is computationally wasteful since these values only change when the user actively modifies the animation quality settings.

📊 Impact: Reduces JavaScript execution time per frame. Specifically eliminates one dictionary hash lookup and one floating-point division per frame. While a micro-optimization, this contributes to tighter frame pacing and lower CPU/battery usage over time.

🔬 Measurement: The tests continue to pass and currentFrameDuration accurately throttles frames. The optimization is documented as a critical learning in .jules/bolt.md.

…nder loop

- Moved `QUALITY_PRESETS[currentQuality]` lookup and `1000 / targetFPS`
  division to module-level variables.
- Updated `applyQuality()` to initialize these variables.
- Simplified `animate` hot path to directly use the cached configuration.
- Saves CPU cycles per frame by avoiding redundant dictionary lookups
and floating-point math in the hot path.
- Updated `.jules/bolt.md` with new learning on render loop arithmetic
  overhead.
