Reason for change: In older kernels (arpi-5.15), the snd-bcm2835 driver exposed: HDMI mixer element for HDMI audio Headphone mixer element for analog output In newer kernels (arpi-6.1), the same driver may only expose: The same driver may only expose a generic PCM mixer element unless compatibility mode is enabled. This change reflects a shift in how the driver handles audio routing and mixer control—often to reduce complexity or align with newer kernel standards.
