directive is a software tool that lets you manage multiple AI agents working together safely and effectively. It models 10 AI agents after the U.S. Federal Executive Branch. The system uses two independent veto layers and auditing to keep decisions balanced and accountable. It also supports teamwork between agents and provides a real-time dashboard to monitor activities. The design ensures no single agent has too much control.
You do not need any programming skills to use this software. The focus here is on setting up and running directive on your Windows PC quickly.
Before installing directive, make sure your Windows computer meets these requirements:
- Windows 10 or newer (64-bit recommended)
- At least 4 GB of RAM
- 500 MB of free disk space
- Internet connection for downloading and updates
- A modern web browser (for the dashboard interface)
If your system meets these, directive will run smoothly.

A web browser window should open automatically, showing the Situation Room dashboard.
If the dashboard does not open:
- Open your default web browser.
- Enter this address in the browser’s URL bar:
http://localhost:8080 - The Situation Room dashboard should load.
The dashboard shows real-time data from the AI agents and allows you to manage tasks and view alerts.
directive runs many AI agents together. Here are the main parts you will see:
-
Veto Layers: These are two protection layers that prevent flawed or risky decisions. They work quietly in the background.
-
Inspector General Reports: Each agent department is reviewed to keep checks on the system’s health.
-
Task Forces: Agents can team up to handle specific tasks or challenges.
-
Situation Room Dashboard: This central page shows live updates and lets you interact with the system.
You can use the dashboard to:
- Monitor agent activity
- Assign tasks to different agents
- View audit logs
- Adjust system settings
The interface is user-friendly. Buttons and menus clearly label each section.
