Rust libraries for communication between programs.
- 🦑 remoc — Rust RPC with remote channels and objects. Calls can pass Tokio-style channels and remote objects over a single transport connection such as TCP, TLS or a WebSocket, and they stay usable after the call has returned.
- 🐊 aggligator — link aggregation and failover for Rust, without Multipath TCP. It combines multiple network links (TCP, WebSocket, USB, Bluetooth) into one connection having their combined bandwidth, with failover between links and roaming between networks, completely in user space.
- 💼 postbag — a compact binary Serde codec with built-in schema evolution. Fields and enum variants can be added, removed and reordered while old and new programs keep exchanging data.
All projects are written in 100% safe Rust and are Apache 2.0 licensed. Remoc and Aggligator build upon Tokio, and Remoc uses Postbag as its codec.
Illustrated overviews, examples and benchmarks are available at remoc.rs, remoc.rs/aggligator and remoc.rs/postbag.
