KalamarIQF

Real-time blast freeze compliance monitoring for pelagic squid processing vessels

KalamarIQF is an early-stage prototype that connects to onboard temperature loggers on deep-sea squid vessels, monitors IQF blast freezing cycles in real-time, and generates the EU catch health certificates and CITES declarations processors need before they reach port. It's built for vessel operators and processing crews who currently manage regulatory compliance through paper logs and are at risk of rejection at EU border inspections over temperature record discrepancies.

Integrations

None wired up yet. The concept depends on integration with onboard temperature logging hardware; specific device support is not implemented in the current prototype.

Architecture

This is a concept prototype. The core logic is structured around freeze cycle ingestion, compliance rule evaluation against EU and CITES requirements, and document generation. No production database, messaging layer, or vessel communication stack is in place.
