Robotic Trencadís

This repository contains materials and examples for the Robotic Fabrication Seminar, which explores how robotic fabrication and perception can be integrated into architectural workflows. Using robotic manipulators, and vision systems, participants learn to build simple perception-to-action pipelines and experiment with design-to-fabrication processes inspired by the Trencadís mosaic technique.

  • python/ — Python scripts for vision system processing

Quick start

  1. Download and install:
  2. Clone this repository:
    git clone <repo-url>
    or download the ZIP from the webpage
  3. Open the repository in VS Code.
  4. Explore the gh/ folder for Grasshopper examples and the python/ folder for vision processing scripts.

Requirements

  • Rhino + Grasshopper
  • Anaconda3 with Python3.10.x environment
  • Vscode
