Welcome! I'm presently engaged in the private sector where I work on state-of-the-art machine learning with an emphasis on explainable artificial intelligence, essentially attempting to ensure that we understand how a system is working and that it is working as intended. Prior to my current role I was a research professor at Pennsylvania State University where I was engaged in computational epidemiology with an emphasis on malaria modeling. Much of that research has now been published and the associated repositories frozen.
In addition to my professional pursuits I maintain the Academic Pages Jekyll theme, which is maintained separate from my personal repositories.
