Analysis on kickers fantasy performances from the 2022 season.
Various factors analyzed including home/away stats, stadium venue, and weather/wind patterns
Utilized a SVR and Random Forest Model to predict scores
Findings:
Kickers tend to perform in front of their home crowd and indoors by over a full fantasy point on average Wind currently shows little to no effect on kicking ability, although the data consists of early season games, with typically less weather patterns, presumably when adding games with 20+ mph gusts/wind, we can expect more results there
Turf kickers outperform grass kickers by over 2 FPS
