Inferring cell ploidy by means of Seurat

Hello all, I'm new to bioinformatics and scRNA-seq, and will be using some datasets for purposes of cellular deconvolution from bulkRNAseq. As I am working with liver tissue, I am aware of hepatocyte polyploidy potentially skewing data - I was hence wondering two things:

1. If scRNAseq was performed on liver cells from many disease stages but not cancer - can this ploidy i.e. 4n/8n cells accounted for in Seurat?
2. I found that increased nCount_RNA can be indicative of higher cell ploidy, but could any other metric be also used to point to this i.e. would nFeature_RNA also be higher?
