  • Exports enough symbols to boot and run an event loop that includes timers and I/O callbacks
  • Changes parameters to devars so that repeated evaluation doesn't trash the state of the machine
  • Added optional parameter to event-dispatch call to skip automatically adding requested watchers to the event loop.
  • Added optional parameters to not collect the callback when a watcher is stopped. For watchers that are maintained, but periodically paused.

Why not just call initial-start start-watchers?
