It would be great if we could get this pull request reviewed and merged. It makes a bug fix available from 2.2.17, which fixes a problem we have had come up a few times in production. When the bug occurs, we loose logs until the Scalyr agent is manually restarted. |

There seems to be an issue with CI/CD checks, will likely need to open a separate PR for this |
