It looks good to me, but I think it's worth mentioning in README or somewhere near the hook controls (like in Mail). Not sure which is better for UX though.

this is a minimal solution to #13 -- by passing the main
restic backupenvironment to the hooks, they are able to callrestic forget ...and other such maintenance tasks on the repository with appropriate credentials.
