No Firmware updates SWupdate builds

Hey All,

Wanted to come back to the issue we ran into here in this issue regarding the Firmware updates, specifically this comment. I would like to know the following:

• If we were to deploy many IOT02050 devices that have SWU image so I could update the OS relatively safely doing the swupdate commands remotely after uploading the .swu files on eMMC. However, what if the OS that we build requires the firmware upgrade in order to deal with changes to uboot for example. How would you suggest do do this if we are unable to upgrade the firmware on the OS setup (SWU) that i run on those devices. Cause that would require some sort of manual intervention with a service stick or sd card etc.

What do you suggest in this case? Will firmware upgrades every be working on the SWU setup?
