How to use, with vim ≥ 7.2:

1. Create or edit ~/.vimrc, so that it contains syntax on
2. Create directories ~/.vimand ~/.vim/syntax
3. Copy siesta.vim to ~/.vim/syntax
4. Copy filetype.vim to ~/.vim
