Code Review

This pull request upgrades dependencies and updates to the latest Google APIs. The changes are mostly straightforward dependency bumps in Cargo.toml and Cargo.lock. The Google API upgrade introduces new types and methods, which are handled correctly by adding serde::Serialize attributes, stubbing out new gRPC methods, and updating value comparison logic.

I have one suggestion to improve the logging in value_ext.rs for better consistency with the project's logging practices. Otherwise, the changes look good and align with the PR's objectives.
