Integrates the independently approved local implementation for issue #238.
The three approved commits and their authorship are preserved, including Mikhail Koniakhin’s original reset-minute change. Source PR #239 is not modified by this integration branch.
Local validation: targeted toast, command, sidebar, compact-status, and provider-surface tests, pnpm verify, and explicit build all passed.
